3:51PM - My Ideas for GHAW next year-

Here are some of my ideas for the club(along with all the normal stuff):

Make sure a monthly activity happens(even if chatham has conflicts do an unoffical one/ i have a list of about 50 things)

Go to a show a month in a group (again with or without chatham)

Have a party once a month or every two depending on how busy we are with our show(themed dress up)

Celebrate everyones birthday (makes us closer i think / i have a calender and am starting on this already by writting everyones down)

Do show reviews( i want the club more involved in outside theatre so when people go see a show they can fill one of these and share it with everyone/ i then want to post it on a bulletin bored in the theatre along with other showes that are going on locally/ like get a whats playing san diego and a reader and a night and day up there)

learn about a show a week (like the plot summary where it is and play music from it if its a musical)

meet people from local theatres( like the other youth theatre students our age and from the surrounding high schools/ i want us to be closer to other schools)

interview everyone in the club( one new kid each week as a get to know them thing/ i again want us to be closer)

monthly bulletin(like email or print out and give to everyone in the club exactly what will happen and when every month)

i also want to make sure NCT happens and stays alive all year

i want to do a warm up entertainment/activity at every meeting(i made a list of about 100 things to do)

have days when we clean the theatre just randomly to keep it looking its best

make a scrap book for the whole year(a page each activity and meeting)

make sure to call attendace instead of letting them sign in because that just didnt work last year

make sure the secretary writes down the minutes after every meeting

plan everything thouroghly so nothing bad happens

visit middle schools to get them involved

have class visitations for every show to get them interested(ask teachers to offer extra credit for student to come see the shows)

have prizes for bringing new people into the club and for tix sales

make sure a bulletin is put in every week over the intercome to the students

do secret pals every show cast and crew(give presents to one another)

post a master calender in the theatre so no one gets confused about dates or times

vote on everything to get the whole club involved

have a suggestion box to get peoples needs and wishes for the club

start working on the end of the year show now to make it really good

have an officer meeting every week to make sure everything is perfectly planned for the next week

have a big meeting every month to get everything roughed out for that month

have a poster putting up party to advertise for our shows whoever gets the most businesses to put them up wins a prize/ pizza at end

make a time capsule

write letters to ourselves in the future (mrs. McCurry does it and its really cool)

ways to make more money(talent show/benefit night/haunted house/car wash/bake sale/sale pictures at end of the year)

i also made a list of what i would expect from all of the other officers




Thats about everything really important i want to add
Yeah...I ve been thinking about this for a long time lol

So I'm leaving everything for my birthday up to my friends. What I mean by this is on Friday I turn 17 (I know really old) and you peeps get to make sure I have the best birthday ever. Now there are some rules to this...
1. I work from 3-9 pm
That's about it. So I'm expecting calls, presents, and fun (maybe surprise hint hint) things to do both before and after I work. Please make this the best, funnest ,most exciting, tell my grandchildren, laugh about this for years type of birthday. And I really want a snazy cake.... Anyways I wuv u all so much that I know you will do a great job. Have fun with all the responsibility of making my birthday great.

Has anyone else ever felt like time should just stop so you can catch up?? Thats how I feel right now. Its not that I'm behind or need a break, I just need time to sit and think and maybe talk to a few people that need help. Maybe I could solve world hunger or cure a few diseases if I only could throw away the clocks. I feel almost bound and chained by this invisible force of time. Slaughter House Five anyone?? hahahahahahahahaha Anyways I have a new random crush on someone. It even surprised me when I figured out that was the feeling I had for him. I really don't think it will go anywhere though. I love him too much to be more then his friend.
